Business Excellence Workshop for Senior Management

Monday, November 13, 2017 – The Debessa team took part in the Business Excellence Workshop for Senior Management held at Damai Beach Resort, Kuching, Sarawak from November 13- 16, 2017.  Talks on business excellence, leadership and planning, as well as case studies were held. The workshop’s objective is to educate participants on business know-hows from award-winning companies like Open University Malaysia (OUM), Mega Fortris Sdn Bhd and Sunway Construction Group Berhad, in sustaining business results in today’s competitive and challenging environment.

Senior managers from various companies, organizations and universities attended the workshop which was instructed by Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Anuwar Ali, Senior Advisor, OUM; Professor Ramli Bahroom, Vice-President for Corporate Planning and Finance Services, OUM; and co-instructed by Associate Professor Dr Azmawani Abdul Rahman, Deputy Dean Research & Industry and Community Relations, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The closing and certificate presentation ceremony was held on Thursday morning. YBrs. Dr. Anthony Valentine Laiseh , Pengarah Unit Pemodenan Perkhidmatan Negeri and YBhg. Datuk  Abang Haji Abdul Karim Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, MPC Board of Director were present to close the ceremony and hand certificates to participants.  Mohd Taufik Ismail, General Manager, KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital Sdn Bhd also presented at the CEO Talk on Digital Economy at the ceremony. 

Managing Director Leonard Martin Uneng, Director Barry Langan anak Melintang, and Business Development Managers Jennifer Leonard Martin and Donna Uning attended the workshop . The workshop was organized by MPC Wilayah Sarawak.
